Green folks of the borough!

LETS is happy to announce a new season of Green Drinks events, continuing to rotate each month around different venues of the area, so that we get to experience a full gamut of drinking establishments and folk from different zones can show off their favourite locals!

We kick off tonight, Tuesday 1st September at The Bell pub on the corner of Forest Road and Chingford Road in Walthamstow. Join us from 8pm: it is quiz night there tonight but just head straight for the back room where we have reserved a table and you will find LETS committee member Rosemary Warrington resplendent in our new WF LETS t-shirt to welcome all Green Drinkers. Ask at the bar if you are unsure!

Green Drinks is a fabulous opportunity for us to get together to share info about green projects (environmental, sustainability and community-related) that we are involved in, make new friends, and have a good laugh. There are plans afoot for inviting speakers or info sessions on specific topics and projects – so if you have anything you’d like to share at a Green Drinks event, get in touch with us!
