LETS Forage! Sunday 21st September

LETS returns for our twice-yearly seasonal foraging ramble over the Marshes. This time we’re looking for late summer-early autumn edibles and medicinal bounty of the fields and hedgerows, led by Phil Mason (Transition Leytonstone, Urban Harvest) and local herbalist Sarah Gray. Discover the wealth of natural interest on our doorsteps and find out about responsible foraging practices.

After the walk we’ll continue up to Springfield Park Cafe for refreshment and all those new to LETS can find out about our excellent local cashless trading scheme, meet other members and sign up if they wish.

Children are welcome; bring your families and friends and LETS broaden our circles!

Meet 2pm outside Lee Valley Ice Centre, Lea Bridge Road, Leyton E10 7QL.

Walk will last 2 hours then we’ll be at the cafe at 4pm.

We’ll walk back to Walthamstow via Coppermill Lane around 5pm.

Free event. Contact Rasheeqa on 07784 506 494 if you’d like any more information.
