Late summer foraging walk on Walthamstow Marshes: Sun 24th Sep

Join WF LETS and fellow traders, friends and neighbours for a green 2 hour ramble over our local wild lands, Walthamstow Marshes, to delve into the tasty and healing plant diversity of late summer abundance.

As the season turns, we will find a bounty of bright-hued berries and fruits that give nourishment and immune health support going into the autumn, and learn about herbal roots that make excellent wild food.

There are treasures all around us –

come explore the edible and medicinal landscape with Elsa Hamaz (Herbal Medicine BSc Hons), who runs a herbal medicine clinic.

We will share fun and knowledge and end up at the Springfield Park Cafe for sustenance, where you can continue your LETS connections!

Bring friends and family and anyone you think would like to be involved in our community of exchange.

All welcome, no need to be a WF LETS member. And its free!

When: 11am Sunday 24th September

Meeting point: Lee Valley Ice Centre, Lea Bridge Road
