Waltham Forest LETS is now hosting the monthly Green Drinks event that usually takes place at the Rose & Crown pub on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. We are now planning to rotate the venue each month so that people in different parts of the borough have a chance to attend. Green Drinks always happens on the first night of each month.

The March Green Drinks gathering will take place on Sunday 1st March at the Leyton Technical pub, located in the old Town Hall a short walk from Leyton underground at 265B High Road Leyton. We felt a desire to explore this new conversion of a local heritage building! Meet us there at 8.30pm and ask at the bar for the Green Drinkers.

Waltham Forest Green Drinks are simply for people in the borough who are interested in looking after where we live – whether it’s environmentally or community-wise – to have the chance to meet up informally. We are always on the lookout for people to come and talk about projects you are involved in, so if you’ve something you want to spread the word about, get in touch with us – info.wflets@gmail.com

There are so many meetings in life, this is the chance to relax, chat, and exchange ideas. Do bring leaflets to pass around if you want to. It’s an information exchange after all. And no, you don’t have to drink alcohol if you don’t want to!
